On April 30, 2024, CMR became an employee owned company! CMR’s previous owners felt compelled to retain the company’s unique culture of employee excellence and premier services to CMR’s roster of wonderful clients. Creating an ESOP was the perfect path to rewarding our amazing employees and avoiding transition disruption for the clients.

Convention Management Resources, Inc. is a leading provider of event services and technology solutions to corporate and non-profit clients. Founded in 1991, CMR provides an integrated suite of registration, housing, and lead retrieval services for large, citywide conventions, meetings, and expositions. CMR’s core business is third-party convention housing services and a hotel booking engine for association and corporate events.

With remote employees throughout the nation, we are a full-service provider of housing, registration, onsite technology, and marketing services for citywide meetings, conventions, and exhibitions. We make every touch point in the housing and registration process easy, friendly, and smart.
