The following CMR staff will be attending Convening Leaders:

  • Julie Noto – Vice President, Client Services

  • Lee Markham – Executive Director, Program Management

  • Alexandra Smith – Director of Marketing

  • Lyan Tassler – Director, Hotel Business Development

  • Robert DeSando – Director, Hotel Business Development

  • Danielle Elliott – Sales Manager

If you’d like to schedule a meeting with any member of CMR’s staff, please contact us.

We are also very excited to be presenting an education session in the Operational Strategy track, EFPIA Disclosure Code & International Medical Meeting Attendance: Benchmarking, Trends & Growth Strategies.

CMR’s Director of Marketing, Alexandra Smith, will present an analysis of international registration stats for medical meetings over the past five years to determine whether the recent EFPIA Disclosure Code has had any impact on medical meeting attendance from the European region. The session will additionally review trends and expected future rates of overall international travel to the U.S., and will also discuss strategies for setting realistic goals and how to meet and exceed them.

John Reyes, Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for San Francisco Travel, and Ron Olejko, Senior Director of Meeting Services for the American College of Rheumatology, will also lend their unique perspectives as panelists.

The session is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. If you are attending PCMA, please join us in the Vancouver Convention Centre West Building, Level 2, room 202-204. The session offers CEUs, and will provide you an opportunity to think about your meeting’s attendance goals in the context of current trends and against an established benchmark, while brainstorming strategy with your peers.

We look forward to seeing you there!
